New in 1.6.0
Skins that move with your music.
Six animated skins are built in under the View menu, and several react to the beat. Each is drawn at double resolution so it's sharp on Retina, and comes with classic 1x sheets that also work in other Winamp players.
Steampunk
The brass gear turns, and its amber lens flares on the beat.
Pixel
Stars twinkle, and the cassette throws pixel rings on the beat.
Halloween
Bats cross the moon, and the jack-o’-lantern pulses with the music.
Christmas
Lights chase under the title bar and flash to the beat, on evergreen holly velvet with gold keys.
Dragons
The dragon’s eye blinks now and then, while embers rise through the scene.
Rambling Buddha
Prayer flags wave, and the mascot bounces to the music.
Retina for everyone
Skins can ship @2x sheets (main@2x.png and so on), so any skin author can make Retina skins.
Animate your own
Add an anim.txt to animate a skin with frame strips, in loop, pingpong, random or beat-pulse modes. Other Winamp players ignore it, so the skin still works everywhere.
Every window matches
The album art, lyrics and desktop widget windows follow the current skin's frame and colors. Animations hold still when Reduce Motion is on.
Pick your era
Modern glass, or pure 2000.
Switch between the Modern look, the Classic retro look and the built-in skins at any time, or load one of thousands of original Winamp 2.x skins from skins.webamp.org.

Questions
Does it run on Intel Macs?

Which audio formats does it play?
MP3, AAC/M4A, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF and CAF. Ogg Vorbis, Opus, APE, WavPack and DSD aren't supported, because macOS can't decode them.
How do I use a Winamp skin?
Six skins are built in: pick one from the View menu. To use your own, choose View › Load Winamp Skin… (⌘K), or drop a .wsz file on any MacAmp window. Thousands of classic skins are available at skins.webamp.org.
A window went missing. How do I get it back?
Choose View › Gather Windows. This brings back windows left on a display that's no longer connected.
